[English]

The pHotocatalytic process is one of the most used chemical process in wastewater treatment. Proposing a method for decreasing treatment cost is one of current challenges in this field. The cost of wastewater treatment depends on the pollutant degradation rate. The kinetic parameters are the main indicators of the pollutant degradation pace in the pHotocatalytic processes; and the kinetic parameters of the pHotocatalytic process depend on various factors. Factors affecting the kinetic parameters of a pHotocatalytic process include hydraulic parameters and the pHysical properties of the pHotoreactor, that for the first time, those effects were investigated in this research. Titanium Dioxide was used for the pHotocatalytic process. The independent variables of pollutant initial concentration, flow rate, pH in the step pHotoreactors with different pHysical properties (slope and step heights) were studied. The differential method were used in this research for determining the kinetic parameters based on the laboratory data.
