In more cases, determination of optimal values of the effective parameters on pipe lines design such as diameter, thickness and velocity is difficult. Therefore, finding of a solution that can be optimize multi objective functions simultaneously, is very useful. In this paper, with definition of two independent functions cost and volume flow rate in pipe, the optimum values of diameter, thickness and velocity are specified by MOPSO (MULTI-OBJECTIVE PARTICLES SWARM OPTIMIZATION) algorithm. The results for an existing pipe lines show that the weight of pipe line decreases 34000000 ton and fluid velocity increases 100%, for optimized design respect to base design.
