Peer Review Process

Peer Review Policy

The Journal of Farayandno employs a double-blind peer review process, ensuring that both the authors and reviewers remain unaware of each other’s identities.

Peer Review Process

A. Initial Review (7-10 Days)

During this stage, submitted articles are first evaluated for their format and adherence to the journal's structure. Articles that align with the journal’s requirements are forwarded to the editor for an initial evaluation. If the content fits the scope of the journal, it is preliminarily approved and moves forward to the review stage. Two suitable reviewers are selected for the article, and this step typically takes 7 to 10 working days.

B. Review Stage (1-3 Months)

At this stage, the articles are sent to at least three subject-matter experts for evaluation. The reviewers assess the article and provide their feedback. Based on the reviewers' comments, a decision is made regarding the article's suitability for publication. If the article requires revisions, it is sent back to the author for revisions. Articles that do not meet the reviewers' standards for publication are rejected, and the corresponding author is notified.

C. Revision Stage (15-20 Days)

In this phase, the author(s) are required to make necessary revisions based on the reviewers' feedback within 15 days of receiving the article. If revisions are not necessary, the authors must provide justification through the journal's website. Articles may undergo two or three rounds of revisions before they are accepted for publication.

D. Final Acceptance Stage

Once revisions are completed or if valid reasons for not making changes are provided, the article enters the publication queue. A formal acceptance letter confirming the final approval and upcoming publication is then sent to the author.
