Submission, editing and publishing is free in Farayandno.

Corresponding author is supposed to be a faculty member or employee of other institutions.

Dear authors, the article should be prepared and sent in the form of a “template” based on the instructions below. (Note: Click on the phrase "template" to receive the form).

The commitment letter and conflict of interest form file (note: to receive the file and form, click on the term “commitment letter (copyright)” and "Conflict of interest") should be complete and sign by corresponding author and to be loaded in the form of a PDF file in the system.

  • Articles should be typed in single column on A4 paper with word software. For the Persian section of the articles, use B Nazanin font size 14 and for the Latin text use Times New Roman font size 12. Tables, charts and figures should be in the text and their information should be in English and their descriptions should be both in Persian and English. If using the software, its reference must be specified. The article should have a minimum of 10 pages and a maximum of 15 pages.
  • For the articles prepared with process simulator software; if the software is MATLAB or similar software, there is no problem, but if it is process software such as Hysys, Aspen, etc. it needs to provide a license for unlocked software by the software organizer. There is no problem in simulation software with CFD as long as the name of the software is not mentioned.
  • Commitment form (Note: Click on the phrase "commitment form" to receive the form) should be completed, signed and uploaded as a PDF file in the system by the corresponding author. Save the file name as the commitment form and upload it.
  • Conflict of interest form (Note: Click on the phrase "Conflict of interest form" to receive the form) should be completed, signed and uploaded as a PDF file in the system by the corresponding author. The article code is completed by the secretariat. Save the file name as the conflict of interest and upload it.
  • English words should be given in the text as foot note.
  • The sections of each article, font types & size  are as follows:
  1. Article title: should be short and introducing the content of the article and should not exceed 15 words (18 B Nazanin font).
  2. The name or names and scientific titles of the authors of the article: (size 12 Bold B Nazanin font),the corresponding author should be specified with the * sign. 
  3. Addresses of the authors:size 11 B Nazanin font and below that the e-mail address of corresponding author.
  4. Order of writing of Persian and English addresses, respectively:academic rank and field of study for the faculty members, degree along with the field of graduation or studying for students and the name of the place of employment or studying for industry workers, the name of the place of employment, the name of the city.
  5. Abstract:The abstract should be in a maximum of 150 words, in a single column and containing the main points and results of the article. (B Nazanin 14).
  6. Keywords:Maximum 5 words (B Nazanin 14)

Note: Parts 1 to 5 in English must be given at the beginning of the article before the Persian abstract.

  1. Body text:begins with an introduction and ends with a conclusion. Depending on the type of the article, it has theoretical sections, device description, test method, solution method, or calculation, and the results are written in a single column with size 14 B Nazanin and size 12 Times New Roman fonts and the spaces between the lines are single. The titles of the text of the article are zise18 Bold B Nazanin font. Tables and figures should be numbered and table titles should be given at the top of each table and figure titles below each figure, respectively. Tables and figures should preferably be presented in color. English words in the text, including material names, names of scientists, etc., except for English abbreviations and units, should be replaced with Persian equivalents and, if necessary, should be mentioned in a footnote in English equivalents.
  2. Tables, figures, diagrams and photos:
  • Shapes, charts, images, maps and photos should be named only with the title of the figure.
  • All tables and figures are numbered and their explanations are presented in both Persian with size 14 B Nazanin and and English with size 12 Times New Roman.
  • The information of shapes and tables (including axis names, numbers, guides, shape names) should be inserted in English.

  1. Equations:

Equations should be legibly inserted with appropriate letters and symbols and should be numbered in order.

Note: All titles, from introduction to thanks and appreciation, should be numbered.

  1. Overall conclusion
  2. Thanks and appreciation:In case of sponsoring for preparing the manuscript, you are supposed to insert this part before references.
  3. References:

The sources used in the text should be specified in order of the number in brackets [] and their list should be in accordance with the number specified in the text. The references sections should be in order of the author or authors, the name of the work (inside the quotation mark ""), the name of the journal or book title, the number of the journal or the time of publication, the number of pages and the date of publication in the references section and in accordance with the common standards. 

Only the references mentioned in the text of the article should be mentioned in the references section.

 It is emphasized that in the reference list section, the names of all journals, publications, institutes, conferences, etc. should be included in full and their abbreviation (Abbreviation) should be avoided.

Authors should use the following styles to format their references:
