Abstract

Regarding the fact that about 86 active storage and distribution depots are utilized in the country's fuel distribution cycle as well as the importance of fuel in the human life, this study was undertaken with the aim of determining important parameters affecting prioritization of oil product depots as well as their ranks in order to decrease their vulnerabilities and extend depots service life. Thus, questionnaires containing 37 suggested criteria provided based on the opinions obtained from academic and practitioner experts. Then, the gathered information was analyzed using MS Excel 2007 and SPSS 15.0. Based on the results, “number of industrial, economic, aviation and social centers covered by the depot” and “probability  of foreign enemy’s  invasion to the depot during war period” were selected as the most important parameters based on One-Sample (Mean) Test and Friedman Test, respectively. Then, using the results, research hypotheses were obtained.
