In this study, nanocomposite membranes have been fabricated to remove Cu ions from waste water by nanofiltration. Membrane were prepared by phase inversion technique. Dimethylacetamide (DMAC) and Tetrahydrofuran (THF) were used as solvent. The effect of zinc oxide nanoparticle concentration as inorganic filler additive in the casting solution on properties of PVC based nanofiltration membrane was studied. For the membrane characterization, permeability flux, pure water flux, selectivity, tensile resistance analyses were carried out. The modified membrane containing 0.2-0.3 %wt NPs showed more appropriate performance. The modified membrane containing 0.2-0.3 %wt NPs showed more appropriate performance. The modified membrane containing 0.2-0.3 %wt NPs showed more appropriate performance.
