Russia is one of the most important countries in the global oil market and holds a significant share in the production and export of oil products. The Russia-Ukraine conflict has had extensive impacts on global markets, including changes in energy and commodity prices and the creation of new opportunities for oil and gas producing and consuming countries. Iran, as a key player in the oil products market, can seize new opportunities from these developments. Therefore, this research, using a descriptive-analytical method, examines Russia's share in the global market and the effects of the conflict on the global status of some oil products such as gasoline, diesel, fuel oil, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and highlights the opportunities for Iran. The research results indicate that Iran can swap gasoline and diesel by sourcing them from Russia and also utilize Russia's capacity to supply LPG for the Northern provinces and increase exports from the southern regions.
